Grey's Anatomy: Crash Into Me - Part 1

Seth Green!!! This was totally unexpected and surprisingly excellent. I much prefer having unknown actors as guest stars on this show because I'm able to look at them as patients much easier than known actors to whom I've already attributed certain characteristics. With the exception of "ER," most shows, including "Grey's," have never been able to use well known actors as patients very well . Tonight was the exception however. Seth Green was fantastic and even more amazing was the cliff hanger the show left us with. Throughout the entire episode we all seemed to get pretty used to Lexie and Seth's character hanging out and dishing on odd gossip. I'm not sure about you but while I thought his artery might burst in the beginning I sort of forgot about it by the end of the night. So when his artery burst all over Lexie instantly I was shocked and left with my mouth hanging wide open when the screen went to black. I hate when we're left with cliff hanger moments like that but at the same time it's what makes a show great.

Whether he survives or not you can never really know on this show but I doubt he has much of shot; from the very little I know I think it's only a matter of seconds before you bleed out and die if you cut that artery. Personally I'd like to see him stick around a bit longer. He had great chemistry with Lexie and for the first time in a while she seemed like she was genuinely happy talking with someone.

Speaking of Lexie, I just had a feeling that Eva would show up again once Alex started getting close (or as close as he gets to anyone) with Lexie. She left without resolving anything with him and you just knew this was going to bite him in the butt one day. I love the fact that he has this problem now because he's really not a great guy so he deserves some calling out. He totally belongs with Eva by the way. There's no reason he should choose Lexie because he's really only known her for a short amount of time whereas he has this unbelievable connection with Eva that he won't find anywhere else. And honestly, does Lexie think they had a relationship? Obviously she did because she was clearly hurt when she realized they were both there for Alex, but she knew what he was about when they started this! He told her flat out which is more than most women could say for the guys they date. Anyway, this is certainly going to blow up in his face next week and I can't wait until he gets a bit of his own medicine.

As for some of the other stuff going on at the hospital, a Nazi paramedic/patient is definitely not what I would have thought would come out of this episode. Bailey is much stronger than I am because I would have walked away, not caring whether he lived or died. To meet someone up close who has that much hate for so many people and believes in it so violently, would really hit me hard and I doubt I could look him in the face let alone operate on him. That guy was a horrible person and it's both a blessing and curse that we believe in treating everyone the same regardless of their beliefs.

And what would a review about "Grey's" be without some info on the Meredith-Derek relationship drama. Derek seems to be getting closer every week to Rose, the nurse he finally realized was around a few weeks ago when she spoke up during a surgery. I think he's attracted to her forwardness and her strong personality. In my opinion he really needs to move on from Meredith and this would be the perfect opportunity. She's still very much messed up and although she's made some strides she still isn't ready for the kind of commitment Derek is looking for and deserves.

But the truth is Meredith has been making some great progress. Last year I don't think she could have held it together in a situation like the one with the paramedics in the flipped over ambulance. I was impressed at how strong she was despite her emotions. The truth is that a situation like that should hit you hard and require you to summon all your strength to deal with it; if it didn't I think that would be the bigger problem. She's really becoming an excellent doctor although I think Derek will have moved on to a relationship with Rose by the time Meredith is ready to be there for him.

The paramedic storyline is unbelievable and vintage "Grey's." I couldn't possibly imagine being in Sarah's shoes and talking to your husband (or wife) knowing they were going to die as soon as they were moved. This was an amazing episode and part 2 is sure to be just as good if not better! Until December, enjoy the review!

Grey's Anatomy: Physical Attraction...Chemical Reaction

Derek is dating The Chief! Well, not exactly, but for all purposes he sort of is. The Chief is living on his own for the first time in his life and isn't really able to do anything on his own. For instance, he has Derek doing his dry cleaning for him in exchange for free use of his extensive DVD collection (I would totally make that deal with my collection). These two really have great chemistry (well, no) and that was the theme that permeated tonight's episode. If you've ever watched "Grey's" before you know that one thing will always remain true - nothing good ever lasts for very long. Tonight's episode was a grade A lesson on that subject and for many of you I'm sure you're happy some relationships appear to be ending while some you wish others would keep going.

Let's start with the most prominent relationship in the past few weeks - George and Izzie. As I said last week I was a big fan of these two last year and even in the beginning of this season. Somewhere along the way though, these two just stopped being a cute couple and became, for lack of a better word, creepy. I just do not see it anymore and in fact I was quite disturbed by all the sex talk and sexual acts between them the past couple of weeks; and I'm pretty sure they're disturbed themselves. The fact of the matter is that if you ever end up crouching in fear after sex, need liquor just to keep going, and almost cry afterwards then you probably need to stop doing it. These two need to accept the fact that they're just very close friends and nothing more. For the mental health of viewers and the characters themselves, they need to save us from this troubling and disturbing roller coaster and just get off the ride. The look on Meredith's face when George tried to talk to her about how terrible everything went is pretty much exactly how I feel about it; I don't want to hear it anymore and I especially don't want to see it.

While not as disturbing Meredith's relationships are on very fragile ground but could go either way. To start, she hasn't much much progress in either direction with Derek. They're still sleeping together and Derek is still looking out for himself. Rightfully so, in my opinion. He shouldn't have to wait around for Meredith when he could end up being happy much sooner. The simple truth is that she may never be ready. I have a feeling that her ability to love and be ready to commit may be somewhat connected to her relationship with Lexie. Meredith has never had a stable family in her life and there's the very good possibility that Lexie could be this family she never had. Lexie is a great person with a good heart and Meredith should give her a chance. It looks like that may actually be happening since Meredith finally referred to her as "my sister" at the end of the episode and was looking out for her by asking Alex to take her home from the bar. Granted she was pretty awful to Lexie throughout the episode before this but I think the ice may be thawing. I should also mention that Lexie doesn't have things as good as Meredith may think. True she may have had a decent life growing up, one that Meredith never had, but her life now is certainly far from decent. Her father is a complete mess and has become a mean alcoholic since Lexie's mother died. I hope Meredith can find a way to get close with Lexie before she finds out about Thatcher. I'd hate for her to finally open up and then have Lexie resent her because she feels Meredith is pitying her.

As for an unlikely relationship, mainly because we had no clue she was joining the staff, between Haan and Christina, I'm actually enjoying the struggle that's taking place. It's really a lesson that every choice in life has consequences and past choices in choosing Burke and her professor to sleep with have finally come back to bite her in the butt. I think Haan is nowhere near the right one here but I also understand her motivation. Bailey was certainly right in telling Christina to look for another specialty though. If she really wants to be a heart surgeon she needs to fight for it and right now she's just rolling over and asking someone to give it to her. Things in life don't come that easy and Christina seems to finally be learning that.

Speaking of Bailey, she's finally Chief Resident! She totally deserved this from the beginning and I'm glad to seethe Chief finally came around. I feel bad for Callie but it shouldn't have been hers to begin with. I feel bad mainly because she truly loved George and the fallout from the marriage is ruining her entire life. You never want to see that happen to someone especially since Callie is really a good person. The thing here though is that Bailey is much more qualified for the position than Callie anyway. It was nice seeing Bailey break down; it really shows how much she wants to be recognized for the sacrifices she makes, which are many.

Oh yea, there were actually some patients in this episode too. The mother who passed away a week after adopting her child was just terrible. It's never fair when something like that happens especially when its simply because she tripped on a stair. Thankfully her husband was there to take the baby when she passed away. I think he's going to be a great father even if he's not fully convinced yet. The fact that he's willing to take on the responsibility to carry on his wife's wishes for the baby to have a great life, really shows how much he loved her. The other patients were actually just annoying and catching them having sex together was almost as disturbing as George and Izzie's sexcapades.

This was a very good episode and a great start to November Sweeps. Hopefully the writer's strike will end soon so we don't have a very long break after the end of the episodes they've filmed so far. Until next week, enjoy the review!

Grey's Anatomy: Kung Fu Fighting

They absolutely started this episode off perfectly! Richard got a trailer right next to Derek. Too funny. I can see Derek out there, fishing, and living in the wild but NOT Richard. He is 100% the opposite of the guy who roughs it. And it wasn't too long before he made that known either; he was already sick of eating fish for breakfast and immediately called together a Gentleman's Evening in order to shake things up a bit. In the end Haan ruined the Gentleman's Evening and made it a Gentleman's Evening plus one woman. Still, it was good for many funny jokes and moments throughout the night. At one point Derek and Sloan thought it was going to be a night of strippers and took a survey around the hospital to figure out if that was the case. Their friendship re-igniting has been great for the show. With the departure of Burke and Addison, a rift between the only two attendings, other than the Chief, would have been dull and boring. Besides, this turned out to be a very funny friendship and great for the show. I also loved that Gentleman's Evening turned into a night of playing Monopoly.

Now, I need to talk about something serious for a minute here. I fully admit that I was a BIG fan of George and Izzie hooking up. I thought it would be great, funny, and exciting. Somehow though this ended up not being the case. Instead, their relationship sort of creeps me out. I really don't know why just yet but every time they talked about sex or intimacy tonight I got this feeling that I just wanted it to stop. The writer's need to tone everything down a bit and get us used to the idea of the two of them together because right now it's just not working.

Speaking of Izzie she did an amazing job with her heart patient. No one in the hospital cares as much or thinks about the needs of any patient as much as she does and I only wish there were really doctors out there like that. We could use people with more heart. I don't know how the heart patient got through that surgery; if I had to sit there for 6 hours with my chest wide open while I was awake I think I'd go insane. Granted he did too, but he lasted a lot longer than I would have. The problem with Izzie now is that she's just plain going crazy in her personal life. Her freak out at the end of the episode was simply disturbing. Hopefully, she'll chill out a bit and we can enjoy her good work as a doctor instead.

Meredith on the other hand is fully in control of her life and emotions. Yeah right. I will give her some credit though. Ever since Derek told her he might not be there when she comes back to him she's been working hard to figure out what will make her happy. This is more than she's ever done in the past and most importantly she now realizes that she not only has a problem but that Derek is the best thing that has ever happened to her and probably ever will happen to her. For Meredith this is a huge step and while it may take a while for her to figure everything out this was important and is definitely bringing her closer to a stable life. The problem now is that Lexie isn't helping things. The last few weeks they seem to have made some progress but in this episode Lexie pretty much shot that all to hell when she woke Meredith up while she was naked in Alex's arms. Definitely not what you want to be doing if you're trying to get closer with your half-sister. Why she went for Alex anyway I'll never understand. He told her what he was about and she seems like a really good person. So why in the world would she go ahead with such a self-destructive situation? I guess I'll have to wait to find out more on Lexie before I jump to any conclusions.

Dr. Haan has already made an impact and watching Christina jump through hoops for surgeries is very entertaining. I'm glad things aren't coming so easy for her now and she has to work just as hard as everyone else to get ahead. I have a feeling she'll get the surgeries eventually though, she's just too good of a surgeon to be sitting on the sidelines for long.

I'd mention the patients who were fighting over the wedding dress/wedding prize except it was the worst storyline ever! Sadly, there are people like this all over the place. I understand wanting to win $100,000 wedding but the fact that they were willing to still hold on to the dress while bleeding and severely injured was just ridiculous. That's all I'm going to say about that one. But I will say that the guy who fell 12,000 feet, because his parachute didn't open, and survived, was incredible. You hear about stories like that all the time and it was a good side story here. Brought out a lot in the doctors and the fact that they shouldn't hide their feelings so much; they should be brave when they have the chance.

Great episode this week and this is a good sign for the quality of the upcoming November Sweeps. We still have a lot to learn about some people and others have a lot to learn about themselves. I can't wait until next week! Until then, enjoy the review!

Grey's Anatomy: Haunt You Every Day

Rebecca/Eva is back!!! I love this character and I think it's great the different side of Alex she brings out. Generally he's a major ass but when she's around he softens; she turns him into something resembling a normal, good human being. Their romance was short lived however, when Alex didn't return from making sure his intern, Norman, didn't die from a stroke. Understandably he wanted to make sure Norman was alright but he shouldn't keep disappointing Eva. She's the best thing that's ever happened to him and he needs to decide if he's in or out.
The one problem of course is that Eva is still married. Clearly, she isn't happy with her husband and although I don't like to promote divorce because I think too many people use it as a scape goat for fixable problems, Eva should probably get one. She went back to a husband she originally ran away from and she's still unhappy. So although she's disappointed with Alex for not coming after her last year and for not coming back last night, she really needs to make a choice herself first. If she's that unhappy a divorce should be the answer whether Alex makes the first move or not. Until she decides though, it really doesn't matter what Alex does or does not do. Personally, I hope they get together. The hard, mean side of Alex is getting old and it would be interested to see a different side while she's around.

I have to compliment Meredith for her attempts at becoming the woman that Derek deserves. She's trying to get ready for a life with him and her first step was to finally move on from her mother's death. Thus, she decided it was time to get rid of her mothers ashes from the back of her closet. Speaking of which, I loved the line from the episode, "This is even more disturbing than you bag full of mommy." In the end, Meredith washed her mothers ashes down the drain in the surgical scrub room with the help of the chief. I think that was definitely the place she would have liked to go.

Speaking of the chief, I feel terrible for what he's going through. He worked so hard to fix his marriage and then Adele leaves him again because he doesn't want to force his niece to fight cancer for a third time. I think it's unfair to ask someone to do that out of selfish desires. Hopefully next week he'll start to think of some way to get her back. He is very much in love with Adele and I think it would be great for them to finally end up happy and together.

As for George and Izzie things didn't get any better. Callie told everyone about the affair and in this hospital information like that can make life very difficult. Christina turned out to be very judgmental and is ignoring Izzie now. I agree with Izzie though, that although what she did was terrible Christina has no right to judge. She's made her mistakes and even slept with her boss when it was expressly forbidden. She can disagree with Izzie's choices but she should keep her opinions to herself. Christina should also keep as many allies as she can with Dr. Haan signing on to work at Seattle Grace! This should be very interesting and I can see Christina reverting to the old, extremely competitive doctor we once new before Burke destroyed her.

I was also impressed by the developing relationship between Bailey and George. I hated seeing Bailey so beat up about not getting home especially when she's doing great things with her time (she donated her time to help build a child ears). It's Bailey so I have no doubt she'll find a way to be there for her family and work. She always figures things out. Along those lines she put George's situation into the perfect light. While his actions were unforgivable, it always takes two to create marital problems. Obviously Callie would never have wanted this to happen but like Bailey said, George had a hard week back then with his father passing and all. The thing is that Callie knew all this and still married George. This makes it two of them as part of the problem, not just George.

As for the patients, who saws off their own foot?!?! That guy was insane but worse than that was what happened to the father and daughter. The father needed a new heart and the same day that he was in the hospital his daughter was killed by a brick that flew off an overpass. Fortunately and unfortunately, her heart would be a perfect match for him. It had to be devestating for the father to take the heart but George was right, a child would give their heart to save their parent. This one really pulled on the heartstrings and so did the young boy who was born with ear canals but no ears. His mother works in the hospital cafeteria but they don't have enough money for the surgery to build him ears. So Meredith brought him around the hospital trying to get the staff to donate their time. It was hilarious when he went trick-or-treating for new ears, great idea and it was so funny how it worked immediately on everyone. I really enjoyed this patient's storyline and it was nice to see how happy he was when he got the ears.

Favorite thing from the episode: Nurses United Against Mark Sloan. Love that he slept with so many that they formed a hate club. Too funny.
Before I end the review I have to apologize for missing last weeks review. As I said in the review of Las Vegas, I started a new job that took up a lot of time last week and I got backed up on the reviews. Grey's Anatomy: Let The Truth Sting

Just like a few other shows in the past few weeks I'm not really sure what to say for last night's Grey's episode. It was just bleh. I mean, it wasn't all that bad; I did come away satisfied and no disappointed. I just didn't come away with that feeling you get in your gut when you just saw an amazing hour of television; when you can't wait to find out what's coming next or to talk to your friends about what just happened. It was just bleh. It was there and it was alright but nothing special.

Meredith and Derek are still bouncing around the hospital, both figuratively and literally. Derek, although recognizing he has a problem, still can't walk away from the relationship in which he is getting less than what he deserves. I agree with Mrs. Burke from last week, you have to walk away from a situation like this. Derek has been there for Meredith time and again yet she always chooses Christina or pretty much anything else over him. That's no way to be and he needs to get out. By her own admission Meredith acknowledged that she can't love even though she has a great man. The truth is that she's using her past as an excuse to be selfish. She could love if she really wanted to, it's just easier to be friends with people than to actually love someone because love is hard.

Speaking of Meredith and selfishness, she is still treating Lexie horribly. At first, I didn't understand how Lexie could be mad at Meredith tonight. From my perspective Meredith was ditched by her father, treated horribly by her mother, the one woman who was a good mother-figure to her died under her care, her father hit her and blames her for the death, and then her real mother dies. So in what world could Lexie, who grew up with the caring and loving father and family, be mad at Meredith who just wants to move on? Well, Bailey set me straight and I guess I understand now. Lexie was left in the dark about what happened to her mother. As far as she knew, Meredith had a rocky relationship with her father, her mother comes to the hospital where she's treated by Meredith for hiccups and dies, and Meredith treats her like dirt. Of course she's going to think Meredith basically killed her mother. In the end Meredith made a gesture; she read the death note to Lexie so she would know it was a freak chain of events that killed her mother. Maybe this is the beginning to a relationship for the two as sisters. It could be good for both of them, especially Meredith.

As for Callie, George and Izzie - Izzie is being incredibly selfish. She wants George to break it off and considers them in this together when it's George that needs to end the marriage, not her. Izzie has always been a bit selfish and self-centered so it's not all that much of a surprise. I feel bad for Callie in all this, I do. I mean, no matter what the situation no one should ever cheat. As much as I like George you don't do that; end the marriage then do whatever you want but don't cheat. However, Callie has to know that she married a man in the midst of an emotional upheaval. He was devastated by the death of his father. She should have told him to wait and then they would get married. Even if they never did at least she wouldn't have married a man who was in it for the wrong reasons. I was a bit shocked at how quickly it came out at the end of the episode. Next week should be very interested when Callie confronts Izzie.

Izzie's patient ("Really Old Guy" a.k.a. Charlie) was a refreshing breath of honest air in this place. With everyone walking around with secrets, it was nice when Charlie called them all out with his honesty. It was sad that he was so far down the road that he wanted nothing else but to die. I guess it's possible for us all to end up like that someday, it just makes it worse to see it happen. These are the kinds of stories that "Grey's" has been missing for a while now; those that tug on the heartstrings.

Now, I have a question. After watching "ER" for the last decade-plus, and especially Dr. Benton, I noticed that whenever a surgery comes up that's new, or at least new for that surgeon, they study for hours on end before performing the surgery. So how could Sloan and the Chief perform the tongue surgery without studying every possibly contingency? They had never performed a surgery like it before! It was irresponsible and probably the biggest mistake we've seen the Chief make in the past four years.

The worst move of the night belongs to who else but Alex. What in the world was he thinking when he told the other interns that George is a repeater? He can't stand to see anyone else get credit for anything. Just when Alex started becoming likable he shows his evil side once again. I feel terrible for George since the only reason he didn't pass the intern exam was because he couldn't concentrate with everything going on in his life. It's not even like he got the answers wrong, he just didn't answer.

Hopefully next week's episode will be better. With the Callie and Izzie confrontation looming it's already more exciting than this one.

Grey's Anatomy: Love/Addiction

ORIGINAL EPISODES, THURSDAYS @ 10PM ON ABC

It's about time George realized he made a mistake marrying Callie right after his father died. Everything we all knew about why he did it but he refused to admit, finally came out of his mouth this week and it was good to hear. His father died, his family and his dad loved Callie, she loved him and was there... All good reasons maybe to date someone, but to marry her? Probably not. George is a good guy that was grieving and got caught up in a bad situation. Personally, I'm a fan of Izzie and George being together (as I said last week) but it is definitely a good idea to draw it out a bit and see how they gel together. It's always tough transitioning characters from best friends to lovers. If you do it wrong it can be very awkward for the audience and end up hurting the show rather than helping.

As for Christina, it was nice to see her with Mrs. Burke again. It might not be Burke but it sort of helps with a little closure for the viewers. Christina and Mrs. Burke were always so alike and yet so different that it made for very compelling scenes together. Like Mrs. Burke said, if she were born in a different time maybe she would have been more like Christina. Christina is clearly a wreck. She could never outwardly show it but the subtle moments when she's alone really tell us how deep she can be. This is why she's been nominated for Emmy's and won. She's been unbelievably great and taken the acting on this show to a whole other level.

I think Derek and Sloan as friends again would be a great idea. Already you can see the comedy between them and you really understand that they only have each other left. After everything, they find themselves alone together again. Now I know most people will say that Derek still has Meredith. But that's just not true. Meredith by her own admission can't love because of her childhood. So despite the two of them still sleeping together, Derek is alone. I feel bad for him because Mrs. Burke was right, he doesn't deserve less than what he deserves (no one does). He loves her so much and gave up so much for her but she refuses to try and make herself better. He's addicted and can't move on. I'm thinking this won't last the season unless Meredith can figure out a way to deal with her past.

A few other points about the episode. I DO NOT AGREE WITH IZZIE! It is incredibly worse to have a secret affair with a married man than to let him tell his wife and just end it. It was very selfish for her to worry about her job and continue the affair. I expected more of her.

Also, I 100% disagree with Mrs. Burke. She told Derek that you're only an honorable man if you can walk away from a relationship where you're getting less than what you deserve. I don't believe this has anything to do with honor. Relationships do not determine whether a person is honorable or not. Your choices in life and whether you hurt other people determines this far more than whether you choose to hurt yourself by staying in a relationship lacking in what you deserve. Derek can be honorable yet remain addicted to his relationship with Meredith.

Lastly, Meredith needs to get over herself and her past and stop screwing with Lexie and Derek but in particular Lexie. I understand any family she's ever had has treated horribly and left her. But Lexie is there and wants a relationship. More than that she seems to be a very good person. So to treat her like that is just wrong. I hope they can work things out because what Meredith needs more than anything is for one family member to stick around and treat her well. It could end up changing her life.

Grey's Anatomy: A Change Is Gonna Come

The thing I liked the most about this premiere was that it wasn't filled with action. Normally people love the fast pace, the quick decisions, the drama filled intensity; but to be honest, I think Grey's best moments are when things slow down. When they do the actors best abilities and the writing's true excellence come through and we really connect with the emotions of the moment. "ER" developed out of the intense trama's but "Grey's" was never "ER" (both are equally great) and it shouldn't try to be. "Grey's" has always found it's greatest strength in what takes place when we're not distracted by the medicine, when we're looking right into the characters eyes and we know exactly what they're thinking. This is why they could have done nothing better than exactly what they did, keep it slow and keep it real.

It did feel weird though to not have Burke or Addison around when the season started. It felt like a good friend just up and disappeared on me. As they say though the show must go on and so it did. Let's start with Izzie. It's great to see her back to her old tricks, getting way too involved emotionally with the patients. Although it was just slightly odd that she felt such a strong desire to save the deer. Tell you what though, she should have told off her intern that kept bad mouthing her. You don't talk like that in front of a resident; Bailey never would have stood for it.

Speaking of Bailey, we need more of her. She was hilarious in this episode and with her no longer in charge of her former interns they need to find a way to keep her on the screen as much as possible. She is a huge part of why this show is great and although she only had a little screen time tonight she showed why every second. Every expression and every line was perfect. I do agree with the Chief that she is better off not being Chief Resident, she's much too talented a surgeon to be distracted. Then again I completely understand why she's pissed. When you're that good you want to be the best.

As for Christina, Sandra Oh is showing why she was nominated for an Emmy. I know she's tough but it's eating her up inside that Burke left her at the wedding and now resigned from the hospital. She plays it off so well though but every time his name came up it was obvious she wanted to break down. The complexity of her character is what draws me to her every week and makes me appreciate her performance every episode.

I totally knew George would choose Izzy. Most people hate the two of them together but I think it's great. Not many people find love with their best friend (I was lucky enough to find that) so why shouldn't they be together? They laugh, they cry, and they have fun together. It's terrible that neither of them realized what was their until he was married but then again George wasn't exactly in the best state of mind when he married Callie. His father had just died and he acted impulsively; who could blame him. As actors T.R. Knight and Katherine Heigel have great on-screen chemistry and I for one think it's a good idea to have them get together.

Lastly, we have the Meredith-Derek-Lexie issues. FINALLY Meredith chose Derek, even if it was to break up with him. Speaking of which my sources indicate that although they're technically broken up they won't be apart much for a long time (as you can already tell from next week's scenes). I think all they needed was to relieve some of the pressure. With everything going on throughout Meredith's life and especially recently, as Derek yelled at Mark, this could be just what they needed to finally make it to a place where they can commit to each other for good. They clearly love each other and I really don't see either of them being happy with anyone else. Now Lexie is a whole other story. I understand the girl wants to know her sister except she has no idea why Meredith needs some space. Hopefully they'll get a chance to talk and be able to get close someday. I think a sister could be just the family Meredith needs to take control of her life, especially one who "is kind of awesome." (Thanks George; and you're totally right).

Oh, I almost forgot about Alex. SPOILER ALERT! From the few things I've heard and my own intuition, Rebecca is going to make an appearance sometime soon. Whether it's permanent or just a guest appearance I'm not sure yet. It's good that he finally has legitimate feelings for someone and is willing to admit it.

Overall this was one of the best "Grey's" episodes in a while and I think we're in for a very special season of television, you just watch.

Grey's Anatomy: Season 4 Preview

I found a season 4 preview for Grey's Anatomy. It answer's a couple questions about returning cast members but not much more than that. Only 2 weeks left until the premiere and if I find out more I'll let you know.
