Unfortunately there still is no new information in a Season 2 Premiere date and likely there won't be until around November or December.

However, the Jericho Cast recently made an appearance at Comic Con and some information about season 2 was given out to the fans. Esai Morales is joining the cast for the shortened second season as Colonel Hoffman. The new character will play a big role in bringing the government into the forefront as a main storyline. The producers also told fans that with the season being shortened to 7 episodes there will be A LOT of action.

Also, don't forget that the First Season DVD of Jericho will be released this coming Tuesday, October 2nd.

I noticed that many of you have been searching my blog for news on "Jericho" lately. The only news I have right now is that it will be a midseason replacement. Generally this means that it could come back any time during January or after. This will depend on the ratings for CBS' other shows. When it does come back, CBS will only be airing seven new episodes.
